Scouting & assessmentThe XRE4S has launched an industrial and intellectual property consultancy programme. The services offered in this programme are:
- Patentability studies: preparation of a report analysing the patentability requirements in terms of novelty, inventive step and industrial application, carrying out an exhaustive analysis of the state of the art of the corresponding invention.
- Freedom to Operate report: based on the description of the technology/product/invention, an exhaustive geographical research of all the relevant documents in force in the countries in which the company wishes to operate is carried out. The objective of this work is to determine with certainty that there is no document in force in these countries that would prevent the free commercialisation of the proposal.
- Advice on the most appropriate means of protection: legal advice to determine the best strategy to protect the intellectual property of a product, technology or invention.
- Legal advice on the review of technology and knowledge transfer contracts.
